2. Lena² Frantz (Benedict Belfontain¹ Franz) (#70) was born in Neuchatel, Switzerland Abt. 1868. Lena died Abt. 1956 in Elkhart, Indiana, at 87 years of age.

She married Christian Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, February 22, 1890. (Christian Munsch is #69.) Christian was born in Wimmenau, Bas Rhin, France March 22, 1862. Christian was the son of John George Munsch and Sophie Solt. Christian died November 16, 1949 in Elkhart, Indiana, at 87 years of age. His body was interred November 18, 1949 in Elkhart, Indiana, Rice Cemetery. At 28 years of age Christian became the father of Edna Louise Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, October 2, 1890. At 30 years of age Christian became the father of Laura Helen Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, December 11, 1892. At 34 years of age Christian became the father of Gertrude Viola Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, March 26, 1896. At 35 years of age Christian became the father of Rose Pauline Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, February 13, 1898. At 40 years of age Christian became the father of Esther Neomie Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, December 27, 1902. At 42 years of age Christian became the father of Herbert George Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, December 6, 1904. At 44 years of age Christian became the father of Vera Lucille Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, January 1, 1907. At 53 years of age Christian became the father of Charles Russell Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, April 17, 1915.

At 21 years of age Lena became the mother of Edna Louise Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, October 2, 1890. At 24 years of age Lena became the mother of Laura Helen Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, December 11, 1892. At 27 years of age Lena became the mother of Gertrude Viola Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, March 26, 1896. At 29 years of age Lena became the mother of Rose Pauline Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, February 13, 1898. At 34 years of age Lena became the mother of Esther Neomie Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, December 27, 1902. At 36 years of age Lena became the mother of Herbert George Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, December 6, 1904. At 38 years of age Lena became the mother of Vera Lucille Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, January 1, 1907. At 46 years of age Lena became the mother of Charles Russell Munsch in Elkhart, Indiana, April 17, 1915. A story from Roseanna Munch, and Mrs. Herbert Munsch about Lena. Lena and her entire family emigrated from Switzerland to Bahia, Brazil, where all died of yellow fever except Lena, and two of her sisters, Rosa and Emma. A baby sister died on the ship as there was no milk available for the baby. When they reached Brazil, the Brazilian Government sent the children back to Switzerland, where they were placed in separate orphanages. Rosa later worked as a governess and saved enough money to bring all three sisters to the U.S.. Lena was aout fifteen or sixteen years of age when she arrived in the America.

• + 5 iii. Gertrude Viola Munsch was born March 26, 1896.

• 6 iv. Rose Pauline Munsch (#273) was born in Elkhart, Indiana February 13, 1898. Rose died October 2, 1961 in Waukegan, Illinois, at 63 years of age. She married George Osbun in Elkhart, Indiana, October 3, 1925. (George Osbun is #281.) George was born February 13, 1898.
