At 18 years of age Anna became the mother of Francis Emerson Shimer Jr. in Butler, Indiana, September 21, 1883. He married Minerva Unknown ABT 1871. (Minerva Unknown is #1051.) Minerva was born ABT 1857. Minerva became the mother of Emmet Shimer ABT 1874. At 22 years of age Minerva became the mother of Nellie M. Shimer in Mendon, Michigan, SEP 1879. He married Jennie C. Pinchin in Angola, Indiana, January 1, 1889. (Jennie C. Pinchin is #1009.) Jennie was born in Ticonderoga, New York ABT Nov 1859. Jennie⁽⁴⁰³⁾ was the daughter of Charles Fitzallen Pinchin and Pamilla Bartman. At 29 years of age Jennie became the mother of Defsie Shimer in Butler, Indiana, 19 SEP 1889. At 32 years of age Jennie became the mother of Bessie Pamillie Shimer in Elkhart, Indiana, February 18, 1892. He married Anna E. Shehan November 1, 1892. (Anna E. Shehan is #306.) Anna was born CA 1865. Anna died January 30, 1926 in Elkhart, Indiana, at 60 years of age. At 28 years of age Anna became the mother of Myrtle Adelphia Shimer in Elkhart, Indiana, April 8, 1894.

Francis's occupation: blacksmith. Francis became the father of Emmet Shimer ABT 1874. At 24 years of age Francis became the father of Nellie M. Shimer in Mendon, Michigan, SEP 1879. At 28 years of age Francis became the father of Francis Emerson Shimer Jr. in Butler, Indiana, September 21, 1883. At 34 years of age Francis became the father of Defsie Shimer in Butler, Indiana, 19 SEP 1889. At 37 years of age Francis became the father of Bessie Pamillie Shimer in Elkhart, Indiana, February 18, 1892. At 39 years of age Francis became the father of Myrtle Adelphia Shimer in Elkhart, Indiana, April 8, 1894.

Francis Emerson Shimer Sr. and Minerva Unknown had the following children:
