Magdalena died September 10, 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona, at 86 years of age. Her body was interred September 16, 1964 in Elkhart, Indiana, Grace Lawn Cemetery.

She married Gilbert W. Swafford Sr. in Canton, Ohio, June 22, 1908. (Gilbert W. Swafford Sr. reference GCM #36) (Gilbert W. Swafford Sr. is #78.) Gilbert was born March 22, 1877. Gilbert was the son of William H. Swafford and Jane Dora. Gilbert died December 10, 1968 in Phoenix, Arizona, at 91 years of age. At 31 years of age Gilbert became the father of Gilbert W. Swafford Jr. in Massillon, Ohio, January 13, 1909. At 33 years of age Gilbert became the father of Harold Swafford in Massillon, Ohio, August 26, 1910.
