20. Kathryn⁶ Klopfenstein (Christian⁵, Chretien (No.3)⁴, Chretien³, Heinrich², Chretien¹) (#258) was born in Wimmenau, Bas Rhin, France May 27, 1884. Kathryn died February 1, 1973 in Elkhart, Indiana, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred February 3, 1973 in Elkhart, Indiana, Rice Cemetery.

She married Peter Bergman in Mishawaka, Indiana, April 20, 1910. (Peter Bergman reference GCM#37) (Peter Bergman is #260.) Peter was born in LaPorte, Indiana April 4, 1883. Peter was the son of Peter A. Bergman and Effie Hank. Peter died October 7, 1948 in Elkhart, Indiana, at 65 years of age. At 30 years of age Peter became the father of Arline K. Bergman in Elkhart, Indiana, July 10, 1913. At 33 years of age Peter became the father of Kenneth August Bergman Sr. in Elkhart, Indiana, May 14, 1916. At 38 years of age Peter became the father of Richard Ned Bergman in Elkhart, Indiana, June 5, 1921.

At 29 years of age Kathryn became the mother of Arline K. Bergman in Elkhart, Indiana, July 10, 1913. At 31 years of age Kathryn became the mother of Kenneth August Bergman Sr. in Elkhart, Indiana, May 14, 1916. At 37 years of age Kathryn became the mother of Richard Ned Bergman in Elkhart, Indiana, June 5, 1921.

Kathryn Klopfenstein and Peter Bergman had the following children:

• 23 i. Arline K.⁷ Bergman (#520) was born in Elkhart, Indiana July 10, 1913. Arline died February 2, 1915 in Elkhart, Indiana, at 1 year of age.

• + 24 ii. Kenneth August Bergman Sr. was born May 14, 1916.

• 25 iii. Richard Ned Bergman reference GCM#62 (#522) was born in Elkhart, Indiana June 5, 1921. He married Goldie Kindig in Elkhart, Indiana, May 29, 1954. (Goldie Kindig reference GCM#62S1) (Goldie Kindig is #573.) Goldie was born in South Bend, Saint Joseph County, Indiana, USA March 16, 1914. Goldie is the daughter of Elmer Kindig and Blance Andrews.
