Elisabeth was born in Wimmenau, Bas Rhin, France January 17, 1826. Elisabeth was the daughter of Chretien Siegel and Eve Bauer. At 26 years of age Elisabeth became the mother of Elisabeth Klopfenstein in Wimmenau, Bas Rhin, France, August 5, 1852. At 29 years of age Elisabeth became the mother of Christian Klopfenstein in Wimmenau, Bas Rhin, France, February 3, 1855.
