2. Hannah Maria Dorthea2 Kasdorf (Wilhelm Friedrich1) reference 21 (#3176) was born 1821.(17) Hannah died June 24, 1875 in Niles, Cook Co, IL, at 53 years of age.(18)
She married Johann Michel Christian Friedrich Hansen in Verchen Parish, April 25, 1845.(19) (Johann Michel Christian Friedrich Hansen reference 21X) (Johann Michel Christian Friedrich Hansen is #3177.) Johann was born Schönfeld, Germany April 18, 1821.(20) Johann was the son of Friedrich Hansen and Hannah Maria Troch. Johann died August 12, 1895 at 74 years of age. At 30 years of age Johann became the father of Friedrich Wilhelm Christian Karl Hansen in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany, June 16, 1851.(21) At 35 years of age Johann became the father of August Friedrich Karl Hansen in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany, April 28, 1856.(22) At 37 years of age Johann became the father of Wilhelm Johann Christian Hansen in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany, October 8, 1858.(23) Johann immigrated, 1863. Destination: destination unknown. According to the genealogical worksheet from Dr David Koss, this family lived in Trittelwitz. The family emigrated to America in 1863. Upon the death of mother, Hannah Maria Dorthea (Kasdorf) Hansen in 1875, there were 5 surviving children. According to Koss, one child must have preceded her in death as he lists 6 children in the family (3 named and 3 unnamed). The unnamed children would, therefore, have the family numbers #214, #215 and #216. As indicated in the footnote for wife, Hanna Maria Dorthea Kasdorf, there is little verification for this marriage. Koss's notes indicate that Johann was a day laborer which leads to speculation that this information came from the Verchen Parish Marriage register.
At 29 years of age Hannah became the mother of Friedrich Wilhelm Christian Karl Hansen in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany, June 16, 1851.(24) At 34 years of age Hannah became the mother of August Friedrich Karl Hansen in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany, April 28, 1856.(25) At 37 years of age Hannah became the mother of Wilhelm Johann Christian Hansen in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany, October 8, 1858.(26) Hannah immigrated, 1863. Destination: destination unknown.(27) According to Dr David Koss' research, Hannah Maria died at Niles, Cook County, on 24 Jun 1875. Her tombstone says 'Anna Hansen 1821-1875'. His research shows that she was converted 24 years before her death while still in Germany. See footnote for her husband for additional info. Of the five children in the Wilhelm Friedrich Kasdorf and Maria Uerkfitz family reported in Koss's re- search, this is one of two of which needs further research and authentication. The second, third and fifth child have been authenticated. -- Koss furtheindicates that the tombstone is "new".
