After the death of wife, Fredericka, in 1880, he married Katherine Roschman in 1883. To this marriage was born one child of whom Ronald Dohrn of Renton, WA is a direct descendant. Sometime between the death of his first wife (1880) and his death (1895) he moved from the Park Ridge, IL area to Petersburg Twsp, Jackson Co, MN. Second wife, Katherine, survived Christian.....Dohrn's notes say: "He was known as Chris. He immigrated to America via New York. Age-19 (1851) - stowaway to avoid conscription in the Prussian Army. He is shown on the 1870 and 1880 Federal census for Maine Twsp, Cook Co, IL. and on the 1900 census for Petersburg Twsp, Jackson Co, MN. All ten children were born at Niles, Cook Co, IL. He and Fredericka Kasdorf were married in 1855."
