101. Johann Friedrich Christian¹ Kasdorf (Michael Friedrich^A, Michel Friedrich^B, Martin^C, Thies (Matthies)^D, Jacob^E) (#4046) was born Glendelin by Demmin, Germany July 1, 1838.⁽³⁵⁴⁾ Johann died 1915 in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., Michigan, at 77 years of age.⁽³⁵⁵⁾

He married Caroline (Lena) Peters in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., Michigan, January 6, 1864.⁽³⁵⁶⁾ (Caroline (Lena) Peters is #4047.) Caroline was born Prussia, Germany September 5, 1842.⁽³⁵⁷⁾ Caroline was the daughter of Charles Peters and Anna Joanna Maria Reich. Caroline died January 25, 1913 in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., Michigan, at 70 years of age.⁽³⁵⁸⁾ At 18 years of age Caroline became the mother of George Grabe 25 April 1861.⁽³⁵⁹⁾ At 22 years of age Caroline became the mother of Adam Kasdorf Michigan, November 12, 1864.⁽³⁶⁰⁾ At 23 years of age Caroline became the mother of Adeline Kasdorf Michigan, April 8, 1866.⁽³⁶¹⁾ Caroline became the mother of Louisa Kasdorf Michigan, CA 1868.⁽³⁶²⁾ At 27 years of age Caroline became the mother of Minnie Kasdorf Michigan, March 22, 1870.⁽³⁶³⁾ At 30 years of age Caroline became the mother of Ida Kasdorf Sherman Twp., St. Joseph Co., MI, January 24, 1873.⁽³⁶⁴⁾ At 32 years of age Caroline became the mother of Helen Kasdorf Michigan, October 1, 1874.⁽³⁶⁵⁾ Caroline became the mother of Albert Grabe CA 1882.⁽³⁶⁶⁾ At 40 years of age Caroline became the mother of August (Gus) Kasdorf in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., Michigan, March 26, 1883.

At 26 years of age Johann became the father of Adam Kasdorf Michigan, November 12, 1864.⁽³⁶⁷⁾ At 27 years of age Johann became the father of Adeline Kasdorf Michigan, April 8, 1866.⁽³⁶⁸⁾ Johann became the father of Louisa Kasdorf Michigan, CA 1868.⁽³⁶⁹⁾ At 31 years of age Johann became the father of Minnie Kasdorf Michigan, March 22, 1870.⁽³⁷⁰⁾ At 34 years of age Johann became the father of Ida Kasdorf Sherman Twp., St. Joseph Co., MI, January 24, 1873.⁽³⁷¹⁾ At 36 years of age Johann became the father of Helen Kasdorf Michigan, October 1, 1874.⁽³⁷²⁾ At 44 years of age Johann became the father of August (Gus) Kasdorf in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., Michigan, March 26, 1883. 1880 census show John Kasdorf owned 80 acres in Sherman Township (Sec 27) valued at $2,600. St. Joseph Co. directory P. 330.

The 1880 census for Sherman Two., page 16, John was 42 and Lena 38 years old. He was a farmer and she was keeping house.

John was Justice of the Peace for three years.
