2. Hanna Sophia² Kasdorf (Ernst Friedrich¹)⁽⁴⁾ reference 1X (#4207) was born Germany October 10,1813.⁽⁵⁾

She married Johann Martin Kasdorf in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, October 27, 1832.⁽⁶⁾ (Johann Martin Kasdorf reference 1) (Johann Martin Kasdorf is #4206.) Johann was born 1806.⁽⁷⁾ (Additional notes for Johann Martin Kasdorf⁽⁸⁾) Johann died November 23, 1835 in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, at 29 years of age.⁽⁹⁾ His body was interred November 26, 1835 in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern.⁽¹⁰⁾ At 27 years of age Johann became the father of Johann George Carl Freidrich Heinrich Kasdorf in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, August 7, 1833.⁽¹¹⁾ At 29 years of age Johann became the father of Johann Carl Friedrich (Fritz) Kasdorf in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, September 8, 1835.⁽¹²⁾ At 35 years of age Johann became the father of Hanna Sophia Maria Dorothea Christina Kasdorf August 22, 1841. kar/00001 Johann Martin Kasdorf is the eldest Kasdorf to be documented to this date. It is believed that further documentation is possible, however. The current parish minister found it difficult to read the older script found in the register and as a result was reluctant to extend his report any further. It was understood that the Verchen parish registers had not been micro- filmed by the LDS by the early 1980's. This may have changed - if so, the prospects for further research would be good. Johann was assigned family member #1 and all of his family descendant's numbers are traceable to him. Sadly, Johann's death occurred at an early age. His son, Frederick (Fritz) was less than 3 months old when his father died.

At 19 years of age Hanna became the mother of Johann George Carl Freidrich Heinrich Kasdorf in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, August 7, 1833.⁽¹³⁾ At 21 years of age Hanna became the mother of Johann Carl Friedrich (Fritz) Kasdorf in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, September 8, 1835.⁽¹⁴⁾ At 27 years of age Hanna became the mother of Hanna Sophia Maria Dorothea Christina Kasdorf August 22, 1841. kar/00002 Hanna Sophia Kasdorf had two small children when her husband died in 1835. The following year, in 1836, records show that she married her first hus- band's brother, Martin Heirich Kasdorf. There were at least 3 more children with this marriage: Carolina Christina Maria 8 Jul 1844 Verchen taufregister 1844, #26 Johann Christian Theodor 23 Jul 1847 " " 1847, #34 Charlotte Fredericka Carolina 3 Jan 1851 " " 1851, #1

Hanna Sophia Kasdorf and Johann Martin Kasdorf had the following children:

• 3 i. Johann Christian Friedrich Theodor³ Kasdorf⁽¹⁵⁾ (#5524).

• 4 ii. Johann George Carl Freidrich Heinrich Kasdorf⁽¹⁶⁾ reference 11 (#4208) was born in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern August 7, 1833.⁽¹⁷⁾ Johann died circa 1910. He was christened in Schonfeld, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, September 7, 1833.⁽¹⁸⁾ kar/00003 Johann George Carl Fredrich Heinrich Theodor (as it appears on the Verchen parish taufregister for 1833, #43) was the first child born to Johann Martin and Hanna Sophia Kasdorf. He was one of two small children surviving the death of their father in 1835. No effort has been made to date to research him or his possible descendants.

• 6 iv. Hanna Sophia Maria Dorothea Christina Kasdorf⁽¹⁹⁾ (#5525) was born August 22, 1841.
