He married Hanna Maria Sophia Fredericka Richter in Waukesha, Waukesha Co. Hanna was born in Trittelwitz, Kreis Demmin, Pommern, Germany May 29, 1839.(25) Hanna(26) was the daughter of Jurgen Christian Richter and Hanna Sophia Elizabeth Arndt. Destination: destination unknown.(31) At 21 years of age Hanna became the mother of Wilhelmina (Minnie) Kasdorf in Genessee Twsp, Waukesha Co, Wi, May 1, 1861.(32) At 23 years of age Hanna became the mother of Hana Maria (Mary) Kasdorf in Genessee Twsp, Waukesha Co. Wi, August 9, 1862. At 24 years of age Hanna became the mother of John George Kasdorf in Genessee Twsp, Waukesha Co, Wi, October 6, 1863.(33) At 25 years of age Hanna became the mother of Carolina Elizabeth (Lizzy) Kasdorf in Waukesha, Waukesha Co. She was evidentally addressed by the name "Richia" throughout her lifetime as this name appears on some records. The couple were not married when they sailed to America, but were married shortly after their arrival in Waukesha, Wisconsin - on 27 November 1860.

WI, September 27, 1871.(45) At 37 years of age Johann became the father of Frederick George Kasdorf in Genessee Twsp, Waukesha Co, Wi, July 28, 1873.(46) At 40 years of age Johann became the father of Wilhelmina (Emma) Kasdorf in Genessee Twsp, Waukesha Co, Wi, January 29, 1876.(47) At 42 years of age Johann became the father of Frank Adolf Kasdorf in Genessee, Waukesha Co, Wi, July 15, 1878.(48) kar/00004 Johann Carl Fredrich Christian Theodor Kasdorf (as it appears in the Verchen parish taufregister for 1835, #13) was the second child of Johann Martin and Hanna Sophia Kasdorf. The little boy probably grew up with the name of "Fritz", as that is the name he used throughout his life in America. He and Hanna Maria Sophia Fredericka Richter (as it appears in the Verchen parish taufregister for 1839, #14) were on the ship Teutonia whan it arrived at the port of New York on November 17, 1860. The couple were married in Waukesha, Wisconsin on November 27, 1860. They farmed in Waukesha County until 1882, during which time they had ten children and Fritz served in the Union Army in 1864-65 with Co K, 1st Reg, Wisconsin Volunteer Cavalry. The family, including eight of the children, migrated to Sauk County, Wisconsin in 1882 - settling on a farm in Merrimac Township near Baraboo, Wisconsin. Fritz and Fredericka spent the rest of their lives on that farm, their eldest and bachelor son, Frank, caring for them until the end. Their large granite tombstone (with its Civil War emblem afront) sets auspiciously over their resting place in the Walnut Hill Cemetery at Baraboo, Wisconsin.
