1. Oscar¹ Schlegel (#1181) was born 16 September, 1865. Oscar died 21 January, 1922 at 56 years of age.

He married Mathilda Belschner. (Mathilda Belschner is #1180.) Mathilda was born 9 September, 1874. Mathilda was the daughter of Ludwig Belschner and Augusta Scheidig. Mathilda died 14 December, 1967 at 93 years of age. At 23 years of age Mathilda became the mother of Emma Schlegel 4 June, 1898.

At 32 years of age Oscar became the father of Emma Schlegel 4 June, 1898.

Oscar Schlegel and Mathilda Belschner had the following child:

• 2 i. Emma² Schlegel (#1189) was born 4 June, 1898. Emma died 15 March, 1995 at 96 years of age. She married Samuel D. Walker. (Samuel D. Walker is #1190.) (See Samuel D. Walker for the continuation of this line.)
