Welcome to the Kasdorf Genealogy Web Page.

The following links will take you to several different pages. The first is a list that contains a collection of all the families in my genealogy. This is organized by family. It then has links to other family members. These are individual families and many are not connected to the larger families. Hopefully some researchers will read these and be able to explain how they link to others. These are created when a family group is found, but no further information is known. Many come from census records where a family group is listed, but there has not been time or information to try and follow up on each one.

Search the genealogy records.

The Descendant page

Note: This is a very large web page if you have a dial up connection, using the index will be slow.

The others are Family style reports. These begin with the oldest ancestor of a family, and links to later descendants.

The first page of each of these trees has a button to return to this page.. However each tree will open in a new window. I suggest closing the window rather than using the button. (So why did I put it there?)

In both cases it may be easier to go to the bottom of the page and pick a family name that you are interested in. That link will take you to a list of every person with that surname. If you know the persons name or a birth or death date it may be much easier to locate a person that way.

I may add more family style pages, or just rotate them to various family lines, depending on who asks for a particular line to be shown and how much room is available on the web site.

Kazology Digital Records. Visit here to see the collection of records compiled over the years.

This includes:

  • Photo albums
  • "The Kasdorf Kin"
  • Census records
  • Church record
  • Misselhorn Family Genealogy

(Not everything is here yet. It may take years to get everything moved to the web!)

Just for fun... something I wanted to try.

I am always excited to hear from you with any information that I may not have, pictures of your family, or any other information related to the Kasdorf's and collateral lines.

If you had visited the early Kasdorf's of the World page you may notice this one is not quite so visual. Due to limited space allowed for a web page, I had to make a choice: more information, or fancier. I figured you are looking at this page for information, so that is what I went with.

You may also have found the really old Compuserve web page. That page is very outdated but the search engines seem to always list it near the top. It seems that Compuserve keeps the pages around forever, but I can no longer edit it. The information is good, but not as complete as what you can find here. In early 2005 I was (I think) successful in getting the Compuserve home page changed. The data is still there, but at least it helps somewhat.

Hopefully you have reached this via the www.kasdorf.net address. You may have also come from the web page on http://home.comcast.net/~kasdorf /index.htm.  In the future always use "www.kasdorf.net". I just registered the www.kasdorf.net ,www.kasdorf.name, www.kasdorf.org and www.kasdorf.us, and as of late 2006 the Kasdorf Network includes www.kasdorf.info! URL's and these can always be redirected to the most current web site, wherever it may be! Plus it is a lot easier to remember.

Since you are probably a web surfer you may already realize that kasdorf.com is registered to a law firm in Milwaukee, while kasdorf.com.sa is being used by "Kasdorf" a company in Argentina who produces milk. I think I have all the URL's I am interested in now, to try and get "kasdorf.XX" such as kasdorf.ca, or kasdorf.bz is just to difficult. Some require that a person with citizenship must apply for them.

Enjoy and send in that information you have been meaning to..!!!
